I'm travelling with roof top tent. Good large gravel pitch as weather very wet. Fab toilet and shower facilities. Nice wee path along side of field, safe to walk into town. 10 min. Neat and quiet site. Plenty of space between pitches.

Absolute gem of a campsite txt , loads of room between pitches , love that you can pick your pitch . Bathrooms are beautiful,clean and the showers perfect pressure and temperature. Nice addition is the TV room lovely and comfy to chill in .will defiantly be back .

Perfect small site. Peaceful with lovely views all around. Huge immaculate pitches, excellent facilities, always clean. Great walks in every direction. Dog friendly site. Fabulous pubs close by. Our first visit, but we will be back for sure.

This small campsite on a farm is tidily kept and is an easy 10 minutes walk to the village of Hawkhead, which has pubs, shops and cafes (including a Co-op). The sanitary facilities are modern and kept clean but in November these needed some heating as having a shower was a chilling experience. Fortunately, the water was hot but you really didn't want to switch it off and face the cold! The washing up room is a bit grim with no windows and breeze block walls. It would have been nice if this had been incorporated into the TV room as a campers kitchen.

Beautiful site in ideal location. Toilets and showers exceptional. Option to use TV/rest room. Kitchen area for washing up, washing machines and freezer if you want to stock ice. 5 mins walk to lovely village of Hawkshead. Lots of local country walks from campsite.
